The South Carolina State Park Service Junior Ranger

Do you enjoy having fun outdoors in South Carolina? Do you want to learn about the wonderful natural and cultural resources the state of South Carolina has to offer? Do you want to explore the opportunities in South Carolina for kids? If so, you would make a great Junior Ranger for the South Carolina State Park Service!

The goal of the Junior Ranger program is to Educate, Entertain, and Inspire. We want to educate you about fun opportunities to get outside and learn about the natural and cultural resources available at South Carolina State Parks. We want to entertain you while are visiting a State Park. And, we want to inspire you to become more involved in State Parks and the outdoor world.

As a Junior Ranger, it will be your duty to Educate, Entertain, and Inspire others. You will educate others about the natural and cultural resources found in State Parks; entertain others, such as your family and friends, by having fun in the outdoors; and inspire others to get outside and enjoy the natural world.
